The 1973 horror film The Exorcist; known for the horrifying and crude scenes that had many audience members fainting and vomiting in the theatre. However, also having many viewers queuing over and over in cold weather to see the film again. The film was a huge success with 10 Oscar nominations and being the first horror film to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.
