Fallout is a series of video games set in a post-apocalyptic world originally published by Interplay. Although set in and after the 22nd century, its story and artwork are heavily influenced by the post-World War II nuclear paranoia of the 1950s. An unofficial sequel to "Wasteland", Electronic Arts(EA) held the rights to the name and thus it could not be used as the title.
